Invitation & Programme design

Having spent many years working as a graphic designer, prior to taking up photography, I'm able to bring this experience to the wedding preparation. This is usually very helpful for the couple who, let's face it, will probably have a huge amount to organise without having to worry about finding another designer for all of the wedding stationary. Typically, I'll utilise images taken on an engagement shoot and combine some of these with the songs, running order and special texts supplied by the bride and groom to produce all of the graphics needed for the day. These may include:

  • 'Save the Date' cards (physical and digital versions)
  • Invitations
  • Wedding programs with Order of Service
  • Slideshows of the engagement shoot for use during the ceremony or reception
  • Small commemorative photo albums for friends and relatives

Below are some examples of different types of designs.  (Tap on each design to reveal more)

The majority of weddings that I shoot, as well as being photographed by myself - are also documented by videographers. I've been very fortunate to have worked on many of these weddings with Clive Coutet (Clive Coutet Media) and Karl Johnson (J3Mediaproductions). They are both extremely talented and efficient cameramen and editors, and there is a sample video of some of their work below.

The final product that they produce for clients is a DVD featuring the entirety of the days events - from bride and groom preparations to the end of the reception - as well as bonus material (theatrical trailer; interviews with guests; and a photography slideshow)

Working in collaboration with the video team, I can offer to produce a bespoke design for the DVD set, which references the design elements that were used in the other stationary, such as invites, programmes, table settings etc, so that the entire wedding from start to finish has a complete, unified theme.
